An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner based in Port Melbourne reporting to Head of Financial Planning and Analysis

About the Role:

The Senior Financial Business Partner (SFBP) reports to the Head of FP&A, acting as a strategic advisor to drive business growth and strategy across the Group. With a primary focus on the Uniti Wholesale and Infrastructure division, the role involves developing insights and presentations for executive communication. Responsibilities include end-to-end financial ownership of critical initiatives and providing ad hoc support to other business divisions. Success requires advanced financial modeling, strong communication skills, and analytical acumen.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead planning cycles for Uniti Wholesale and Infrastructure division, ensuring collaboration and P&L ownership
  • Develop advanced financial models for strategic decision-making
  • Provide robust reporting and analysis of business unit performance
  • Act as a strategic business partner, offering financial counsel for sustainable growth
  • Offer commercial support through business case preparation and review
  • Assist in executive level reporting for shareholders and board of directors
  • Collaborate with Group Finance for process improvements and financial efficiency
  • Provide operational leadership and stakeholder engagement
  • Support wider FP&A team on ad hoc basis

Essential Experience:

  • Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in progressively senior finance roles, ideally with experience in business growth, strategic financial planning, reporting and commercial analysis
  • Advanced financial modelling skills with expertise in developing complex financial models
  • Demonstrated experience in providing strategic financial advice and partnering with senior leadership to drive business growth
  • Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance
  • CA/CPA qualification
