About the Role:
This role is responsible for supporting the planning, preparation, receipting, and delivery of stock for construction and maintenance, including the build of OptiComm’s FTTP headend racks. It plays a key part in ensuring high-quality equipment preparation, installation, and ongoing support of Opticomm’s network infrastructure.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
• Support warehouse operations by following inventory management principles
• Conduct stocktakes and prepare equipment for dispatch
• Checking orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
• Accepting Deliveries and Shipping of Goods
• Inventory control and logistics support
• Assist with the delivery of Headend construction tasks
• Ensure basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Supporting Health, Safety, and Environmental policies

Essential Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience working within the Telecommunications construction industry
• Cert 3 Telecommunications
• Forklift licence
• First Aid Cert II/CPR accreditation desirable
• Familiar with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements Knowledge of Electrical systems
• Knowledge of Electrical systems
• DC Power fundamentals
• RF- FTA / SAT
• GPON Networks – Pit and Pipe / Fibre/ Equipment and components
• IP Networking
• Logistics principles and inventory management
• Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint literate
